NVH Project Management

Automotive Analytics, Inc. has developed expertise to guide a complete vehicle program from initial concept through to production to assure achievement of NVH performance objectives. Critical to the achievement of vehicle NVH objectives is the target setting process. Technical Publications from Alan Duncan Engineers at AAI have outlined the process where vehicle level objectives flow down into detailed subsystem objectives. The process involves subsystem target setting established from full vehicle simulations. (Ref.1.)

The need for complete vehicle simulations require management and integration of the subsystems that dynamically represent the components. The main subsystems include, a fully massed body, powertrain, steering, and suspension. A suite of NVH load conditions representative of the real world NVH environment must also be formulated and organized. (Ref.2.)
